Olivia Rodrigo has done it again! The American powerhouse’s second album GUTS has entered straight in at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
According to Official Charts, GUTS is both the best-selling and most-streamed album of the week, notching up 60,300 chart units and outselling the rest of the top 10 combined. Olivia’s debut album SOUR has also re-entered the top 10, currently sitting at number 8.
GUTS claims the fourth-biggest opening week for an album in 2023 so far. It sits behind Lewis Capaldi’s Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent, Ed Sheeran’s –, and Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
Olivia is also enjoying great success over on the Official Singles Chart. She is currently occupying number 2, 3 and 7 with ‘vampire’, ‘bad idea right?’, and ‘get him back!’ respectively. Earlier in the week, the singer-songwriter, who was recently awarded the BRIT Billion Award, dropped the official music video for ‘get him back!’, which you can check out below.
Olivia recently announced her GUTS world tour which went on sale on Friday. With many dates selling out already, she has just added a further 18 dates across America, UK and Europe, with ticket registration open until Sunday 17th September.
